I DON’T BELIEVE IN CHURCH

“Do Not ________________.”
Why do we Judge?
We are _____________.
(1 Corinthians 3:3 GN) When there is jealousy among you and you quarrel with one another, doesn’t this prove that you belong to this world, living by its standards?
We are _________________.
(Proverbs 30:12 ESV) There are those who are clean in their own eyes but are not washed of their filth.
(John 10:10 ESV) “The thief comes only to steal kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
(Luke 4:18 ESV) “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free”

(John 7:24 NIV) Stop judging by mere appearances...
(Hebrews 12:15 NLT) Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.
Stop holding people outside the _________________ to God’s standards.
(1 Corinthians 5:12 NIV) What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church?
Changing the Narrative
(Matthew 7:1-5) “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
(1 Corinthians 5:12) It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning.

(Matthew 7:2) For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3._____________ gently.
(Matthew 7:5) You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

(Romans 8:15-16) The Spirit you received does not make you slaves so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.
(Galatians 3:26) You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
